There are many MMORPGs that do nothing other than against a race of characters. However, there are some games that some fancy features that you can experience, while others only have to fight fight fight. I play Lord of the Rings Online, and not much to do, then only against each other online battle. (especially) in the region. In LOTRO you can buy a house and decorate with things. You can show a farmer and a cook and equipment and increase you cook your own food and enjoy a good meal or pipeweed. The few fun fun missions, the demand for the delivery of mail or other small things. But the fight is still a way to level up and is on the theme of the party.
I think that is what you want in terms of good story, gameplay, and the need to fight all the time. However, I do not think it could be a princess: (
